I was contacted by the recruiter, which sounded perfect for me. I interviewed with the manager, and everything looked good, but they eventually turned down my application and went with another candidate. During the interview, they seemed more interested in what they were doing than what I had done. It felt more like a production introduction than a test of my qualifications.

Nothing technical yet. It seems they think I'm overqualified somehow.
