Process

Simple Process.

Recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. I had a Skype interview, then an onsite, and then a final call with the director. The recruiter contacted me in the evening with the offer details. The entire process took about two weeks.

More about offer details:

I have more than two years of professional experience, so I was expecting a higher salary than what I was getting at my previous company. However, the offer was awful, and I felt insulted.

Firstly, the base salary was less than what I was receiving in my previous company. Secondly, I did not get any RSUs, and the sign-on bonus was non-existent. I was also told that there was little to no bonus structure.

I didn't know how to even start negotiating my offer, but when I tried, I was immediately told no, and therefore I declined the offer. It was a completely awful experience!
