This was not a very good experience this time. I think the company needs to spend some time to deal with bias, fairness, and process as well.
First, please make sure the team actually is interested in this person.
Please ask the same candidates the same questions. It's not fair when one candidate has to solve two questions in 40 minutes, while another candidate solves only one and has some excuse of saying, 'I just want to see some ability.'
Please have fairness during the process and make the questions reasonable.
