Culture Shift, Product Gaps
Culture Shift, Product Gaps
- Strong push for cultural change.
- Successful business model transition.
- Management changes in my division are for the better.
- I am still learning.
- Product managers are not technical enough, often have pie-in-the-sky requirements, and no vision.
- No complete product ownership outside of the US.
- Some departments are super inefficient and political; promotions are based on who you know, rather than on merit.
- No data strategy.
- The salary of existing employees is on the lower end of the market range.
- Delegate full product ownership to other regions so the company can move faster.
- Consider salary adjustments and increments for your existing employees, not just new hires.
- Solidify your data strategy instead of leaving it to sub-departments.
