Although I was only there for three months for an internship this past summer, I learned so much and my team was very supportive. My interaction with other departments within Autodesk was also very smooth and welcoming.
The company really cares about its employees and their well-being, which, in this day and age, seems like something quite rare.
During my internship, they had two personal development days where the company literally pays you to work on skills (using whatever resources you want) that will help you do your job better. How cool is that?! They also had a recharge day (a paid day off).
Granted, my experience will differ from many since I had a fully remote experience, but the people at Autodesk did a great job of making me feel like part of the Autodesk company. I really like the push towards unity amongst the entire company. I believe that is essential to the success of any company.
My manager was friendly and personable, and all of my teammates were bright and willing to help. And last but not least, Andrew, the CEO, is such a cool guy! I only met him virtually through one of the intern talks, but it was so refreshing to see and hear a personable, level-headed, and brilliant CEO.
Overall, my experience was great and I highly recommend Autodesk as a place to work.
I can't think of any cons, perhaps because I was still in the honeymoon phase when my internship ended.
But as far as areas of improvement for the internship program, I think a little more project organization for the interns would help. I know this was much more difficult because it was done remotely, so I'm empathetic. You all did an awesome job given the short notice.
Keep up the great work in stimulating interaction amongst teams and hiring bright, kind-hearted people!
The first round is an Online Assessment (OA) conducted on the CodeSignal platform. It features four questions to be solved within an hour. Most of these questions are related to arrays, 2D arrays, and linked lists. Following that, there's a technica
There were two technical rounds based on DSA and one HM round. The level of the interview was average. Questions asked were mainly from DSA and the projects that you had added to your resume.
The first interview was a 30-minute phone call to learn about my experience and interest with the company. The second interview was more technical, where they asked a few questions about Java and React.
