My first interview was a 90-minute session over Slack. It began with a few "tell me about yourself" questions, followed by general technical questions.
My interviewer was an Android Engineer. When I concluded an answer about some Objective-C code with, "...if I remember correctly," she informed me that, as she's on the Android team, she isn't familiar with all the answers for iOS. However, she assured me my answers would be forwarded to an iOS Developer for review and a decision on whether to proceed.
The next day, I was notified that they wanted me to move forward with a take-home project. This project involved debugging an app and adding new features. After submitting the project, I was informed that they would not be moving forward with my candidacy for the position.
