Worst Experience.
Got a call from a consultancy. After clearing the first round, I got a call regarding the second round from BofA HR. She would not listen to anything and would cut the call before I could finish speaking.
Before the second round, I got a call from the hiring manager. He asked whether or not I would join, and if I would "don’t insult me in front of the onshore team." He asked about my experience. As I was describing my experience, he said, "Don’t try to lead and oversmart in front of me."
He was so rude and arrogant. I was surprised that I was not hired yet, and this is how the manager was behaving.
So, anyway, I had a round with the onshore team. It lasted 45 minutes and was good. Then I waited for feedback for 3 weeks. Nothing was done. I tried calling HR, but there was no response or update; they were not responding to any calls, messages, or emails.
Suddenly, I got a call from the consultancy again. They said they wanted to have one more final round with me and asked me to join using the old link. On the interview day, the interview was scheduled before the time. I got a call from the consultancy, instead of HR, asking me to join as the panel had already joined.
After that, it's been 3 weeks now with no update. I received no feedback, even from the consultancy. I tried calling HR, but there was no response.
Worst experience. I wasted 2 months in their so-called interview process. It's better to avoid these companies, especially where managers do not know how to talk with candidates. He was actually a demotivating person.
Please at least update candidates about their status. If candidates don't reply to HR, it's called unprofessional. What is this called when HR doesn't respond to candidates and update them?
If the requirement is not confirmed, why do they conduct so many rounds?
I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
