Senior Developer Plano Location Interview Experience

Process

I wanted to bring to everyone's notice how some of the BOA interviews are so unethical and fake.

I have been applying for IT openings at BOA Plano, TX, for the past few months and have been interviewed a couple of times. One of the positions (Senior Developer) was closed without filling it and was then converted to a C2C H1B position. I am a very good fit for the position and a US citizen; I should have been given priority over an H1B.

A culture of cronyism has crept into the way BOA, Plano office, operates, where most of the hiring managers are of Indian origin, and they prefer to hire their own H1B relatives or contractors over qualified Americans.

In my case, the hiring manager was a no-show to the interview, and it was conducted by an H1B consultant on the interview panel. The way the interview was conducted, it became evident to me that this was a fake interview, though I was still optimistic about my chances.

I can tell you this is not just my experience; I have talked to other applicants who shared similar experiences (for different roles).

I urge BOA executives to make the interview process more transparent and suggest that it be tracked for fairness.
