Senior Developer Interview Experience - Plano, Texas
Process
Contacted by a recruiter, who set up the first phone interview. I was told there would be two interviews throughout the process.
The first interview lasted 30 minutes. Only received a very high-level job overview for the first 2 minutes of the interview, followed by non-stop technical questions. At the end, I was told the interview was done and I didn't have a chance to ask questions about the position. It seemed there was no interest in knowing the person at all, and they were only concerned that the tasks could be completed.
Questions
Explain the parts that make up a SQL loader.
Explain how to create a user partition.
Explain why you would use a function instead of a procedure.
Explain why you would use table triggers instead of writing your own code each time.
