Pros: Very hard to get fired.
You won't starve.
At least you will be doing actual coding work, sometimes.
Cons: Very bad management culture.
As a SWE, you will stagnate unless you fortunately landed in the few groups that are actively embracing new technologies.

Pros: Been here for a while. Good benefits, great coworkers – nice and supportive. Newly formed divisions. Lively and want to take on challenges.
Cons: Very procedural, not a whole lot of freedom in the development process or tools or configuration of tools. Mainly configuration of tools.
Always need admin.
WFH has its good and bad.
