The political atmosphere in the area I worked was not as intense compared to other large corporations I have experience with. Pay and benefits are average. I worked from home for the three years I was at BoA, which was a big plus. However, less than 10% of employees are allowed to work from home.
Work-life balance is not good, especially for salaried employees.
In many cases, people were not allowed to take much of the vacation allotted to them in HR policy by local management.
They continue to lay people off and work the rest harder to make up for a lack of staff.
Poor communication by many managers.
If you really want Bank of America to be the best place to work, as you say, then you need to find a way to provide a better work-life balance for your employees and allow them to take the vacation time that is provided under corporate policy and is stated in the offer letters.

Two rounds of interview. Had a technical discussion with a couple of teammates, followed by problem-solving questions. The second interview was more about the team, with questions to understand if I am a good fit for the team.
