Process

I applied online.

1 pre-screen, hiring manager round, and then technical round. If selected, flown to base HQ in Austin.

Company is a red flag:

  • 2 of my interviews, the CEO and employee were yawning.
  • No sense of professionalism.
  • In final round, 2 different people gave different definitions for the role.
  • Final round is grueling 3-hour interviews with no break.

This is done after you give a 45-minute presentation. Typical startup culture with no clarity.

Questions

How does ERCOT work, market sizing questions. Expect a lot of trick questions which they themselves would have no answer to.
