HR reached out from Vancouver, BC, one month after I had applied for the role. After a first-round HR video interview, I was ghosted by the recruiter, who told me that he doesn't ghost candidates. I feel like I was used to get salary range information, immigration status, and information about me being a person of color.
I should have ignored that HR, as he was contacting me for the role nearly 45 days after I applied.
