Junior Java Developer Interview Experience - Vancouver, British Columbia

Process

My interview began with him asking me what I knew about Best Buy. He then went over my resume, paying special attention to my past projects.

He also asked how comfortable I was with Java on a scale of zero to ten, with ten as an expert.

After that, he went over the programming languages I know, and picked out C++/C and Java on my resume, asking me the differences between them from a high-level perspective.

I gave him an answer I had prepared previously, but he asked for some more differences. When I couldn't think of any, he gave me a hint which led me to my next answer. This hint-and-answer test happened twice.

After that, he was done with the interview and asked if I had any questions for him. I asked him the questions I had prepared previously, thanked him, and we ended the call at around 18 minutes.
