The discount was enjoyable, and the hours were okay.
If you are full-time, the benefits for health are reasonable, and they did offer tuition reimbursement, which was great.
Management was terrible. There were some managers that were personable, but for the most part, many were not employee-friendly and even [bad] with customers. After working there for 6 years, I got promoted once to a higher-paying position, only to have it downsized right before I left. There is little to no room to move up, and, to be honest, they never seem to hire new management from within a store. It was mostly outside applicants or people moving away to get a new management job at another store. At the rate they show no care for employees with knowledge around products or tenure experience, they will continue to hire people with little knowledge and for a cheaper wage, which will probably be the end of them.
If you continue down the path, your own, I don't see this company surviving in the next decade.
