Good learning environment, good work-life balance.
Always changing (4 managers in less than 2 years), priorities unclear, work does not match job description, difficult to get promotions, isolated work/team. Based on layoffs and the excitement around the India hub, as well as shifting priorities to try to stay in the game, I am a bit worried about the future of Best Buy.
I have completed only a portion of the interview process so far, which was a skills test. The skills test was very difficult; they don't expect anybody to finish within the allowed time or to do very well. Next step, I've been told, is an in-person
Two rounds of interviews. The first round was mostly technical, with very straightforward questions on JS, React, and a few live coding implementation exercises. The second round was a culture fit interview with questions on Scrum and work ethic.
Phone interview with manager and then a one-hour technical interview with two tech employees and one BA. Overall, a good experience. They will ask about your previous job experience and how much you are willing to learn new skills.
