Software Developer Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

They have a 3-hour HackerRank test that focuses on problem-solving. Then, after a brief pause of one month, you get into a hiring event.

Had 4 interviews before lunch and 3 more post-lunch. Had to wait 2 weeks to get feedback that they were not moving forward.

I don't think it's a professional process for providing feedback and managing hiring.

The questions weren't out of the ordinary; they were just some quick problem-solving exercises.

Questions

Given an array of integers, can you make a series such that a1 <= a2 >= a3?

Given a database table of records, try getting the hierarchy such that any child lookup can traverse the relation hierarchy.
