Few late nights and weekends. Lower management seems to understand that people are unhappy. Most lower management seems to want to improve the toxic environment.
It is a horrible environment.
It is difficult to get work done with constant interruptions and 25% of your time spent doing paperwork. People are always in a bad mood, and there is a lot of bickering and scapegoating.
Treat people with more trust and pay better. Promotions are not merit-based, from what I've seen.
