After talking to HR, I was told that I would be interviewing for a Security Engineer role. It was only meant to be a 'get to know more about the role' interview, and at the end, they'd set up a time for a tech interview (if all went well).
I showed up and found out that I was interviewing for a Performance interview. Then, after the interview, they said, "Awesome, are you ready for the technical interview?"
I replied, "I was explicitly told that that interview would happen at a later date."
They said that because there were 15 minutes left of our time slot, they would just throw some questions at me and see how I would do. I'll let you guess how I did answering performance questions without working in performance.
