Pros

Some very smart and great people to work with.

Games are great and the employees do care about the product.

Cons

Growth in some critical departments (QA) was too fast for the inexperienced management team to handle. Their response was to hire more inexperienced and out-of-industry people, which made the problem worse.

Advice to Management

Learn to take a hard look at what things are really like out with your day-to-day employees. Don't continue to take half measures and hope that they will get you by. Sometimes, even upper management needs drastic changes, and that time is now for Blizzard.
