Android Engineer Interview Experience - Atlanta, Georgia

Process

I would highly recommend you do not waste your time on the take-home project and instead focus on the regular technical interviews.

If they hire someone else who progressed through the process earlier than you, they won't review your project or provide any feedback.

I was ghosted by the recruiter and received no feedback, even after I asked for it. Instead, I got the standard company "we went with someone else" email.

The take-home project consisted of pulling data from an endpoint and displaying it in a list. It was the same project that everyone else received.

Questions

Recruiter basic questions:

  • Tell me about a project you worked on.
  • Why Square?
