Pros: Work-life balance is great, as well as the remote work policy. The transfer process is quick and easy when moving to different locations.
Cons: Not much. I have only recently started here.

Good pay and nice coworkers overshadowed by layoffs

Pros: Good pay. Work-life balance was not bad. Coworkers were nice to work with.
Cons: Block had a great culture until the big AI push resulted in stack ranking and measuring PR counts or token usage as the main productivity metrics. If a company lays off forty percent without any warning, that is a huge red flag indicative of bad leadership.
