Software Engineer New Grad Interview Experience - Boston, Massachusetts

Process

The recruiter emailed me, and I skipped the coding challenge to go straight to the phone interview. It lasted about an hour, a little longer than expected.

I received a Skype call from an engineer who wanted to start right away because he couldn't pull up my resume from the database. The interview question wasn't difficult, but the interviewer clearly had trouble understanding me. He would ask the same question repeatedly. For instance, he asked about the space complexity of my solution and why three times. Each time, I had to repeat what I had just said, until he stated it himself. This was a bit odd and made me think he completely missed my explanations.

Questions
