Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

A recruiter reached out to me.

I had a "pair programming" session over the phone, and then I was invited on site.

There were three "pair programming" questions.

One behavioral interview covered what I had worked on and the most challenging problem I'd faced.

One architecture interview was similar to designing a flight reservation system.

I had an interview with the hiring skip-level manager.

There was also a lunch interview.

Finally, the recruiter reviewed how the interviews went.

Funny thing was, I felt I nailed the interviews but did not receive an offer. So, do your best because it's all subjective.

Questions

The same old questions you get to whiteboard, but instead now have to do over on a computer, i.e., pair programming.
