I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter. The next round was scheduled as a phone interview, but it was changed to a take-home assignment. I submitted the assignment ahead of time, but it was apparently missed. I resent the solution, and the next round was a pair programming session for back-end development. The interviewer was good, the questions were not difficult, and we even finished ahead of schedule. The interviewer even helped me at the beginning when I was momentarily stuck, prompting me in the right direction.
Two weeks passed with no reply, so I emailed the recruiter. She responded saying my coding was not strong enough.
I had read many negative comments on Glassdoor before the interview, which made me skeptical. Their reply was exactly as other people had described. I'm not sure what kind of code they are expecting, and the recruiters seem unprofessional – they lose emails and don't reply for weeks on their own.
