Pros: Good salary and culture, benefits, work/life balance.
Great office.
Good snacks, including a decent lunch.
I have to say, an incredible company to work for over the pandemic.
Cons: Perhaps a little rigid on their rules on the business sides. For example, a lot of teams enforcing a need to be at your desk at 8 am. Or the infamous badge rules. One thing I would say is the benefits outweigh these cons, but it does take some getting used to.

Pros: There are large R&D departments. Engineers are treated with a certain degree of respect, like in a typical technology company, instead of financial firms.
Cons: Work can be hectic sometimes. It is demanding, and the working environment is noisy because of the open floor plan, which emphasizes communication among engineers, business analysts, etc.

Pros: Lots of work to keep you busy. Free coffee, breakfast, and snacks all day.
Cons: Typical large organization. After all, Bloomberg is a monopoly, and management doesn't bother to develop creative products and processes for their customers. Their primary objective is to continue to squeeze out the most profits from antiquated products. If you are looking for a creative environment, please stay away from this company. The "skills" you learn at Bloomberg are not transferable.
