I got the interview through on-campus hiring. It looks like they want you to be familiar with C++ or C, but unfortunately, I haven't used them for years. No algorithm problems were asked; they just asked me questions about the projects on my resume. The whole process was a rush. I got the interview three days after applying for the position on the website.

Pros: Free snacks and soft drinks.
Pay is good.
The company really pays a lot of attention to the internship program.
The people working there are smart.
Cons: Technology is amazingly old. Do you know Comdb?
Managers don't care about your feelings as long as you get the work done, regardless of how you achieved it.
For an intern, whether you can get a full-time job offer is independent of how your work was during the summer, even if you work hard and your mentor and manager like you.

Pros: Awesome location, snacks, usually interesting work, and good hours.
The employees seem very content and taken care of.
The full-timers were very welcoming to the interns, inviting us to play frisbee after work. The work-life balance was good -- people normally left around 6 pm to do that sort of thing.
The interns had a week of training which also allowed us to socialize, and the intern class ended up pretty close and brave.
Cons: The codebase is largely old and kludgy (like any 30+ year old company).
They spent a week teaching the interns how to use their proprietary stack, though, and it's pretty effective at what it does.

Pros: Good code.
Nice benefits.
The skill level of people working there is pretty high, I must say.
There is free food available all the time.
Cons: Too much work. They make you work like donkeys. If you're in a team like Global Trading, your life will be hell.
