Pros: The financial industry knows that Bloomberg only hires good people. I've got a coworker who was turned down multiple times by Bloomberg and eventually accepted by Goldman.
Good salary, average bonus, good fringe benefits like organic snacks.
Cons: Nasty culture. The company tolerates and promotes workplace jerks. Go read Bloomberg by Bloomberg.
The founder enjoys throwing a bunch of people into a pool, watching them kill each other, and promoting the survivors.
