I applied for an abroad position through India. The HR call was good. Although my interview was rescheduled a couple of times, it was because the position I had applied for earlier was put on hold. I had a phone screening interview with a Bloomberg engineer from NY.
For most of the interview, I felt the interviewer was distracted. They kept looking at the screen and making faces as if annoyed, which was quite distracting and seemed like the interviewer had already made up their mind. I was asked:
I didn't get feedback for my rejection, but my guess is I didn't perform well on the behavioral interview. It seems they put more weightage on "why you want to join Bloomberg?"
