Heavy growth and considered risks to promotions and opportunities for the less-experienced.
The good departments manage poor performers aggressively and pay commensurately.
Those willing to invest their heart and soul thrive.
Cons: Alpha-males thrive, and the socially awkward are suppressed. There's an NY-centric view and a lack of understanding or awareness of other locations. Upper management rules with an iron grip, yet frequently proves to be the blockage. Timetables are often dictated to allow flexibility for the privileged few, at the expense of the many.
