Process

The recruiting process at Bloomberg was a very enjoyable experience.

I was connected to the company via a recruiter I met at a conference who suggested I apply, which resulted in a phone screening. The screening involved some behavioral questions but was mostly focused on a single medium-sized algorithms problem, which I completed on a collaborative text editor online.

Following that, I was invited to NYC for an interview day, which was a great experience in and of itself.

During the day, I had:

  • An office tour
  • Behavioral interviews with an HR person and a senior engineering manager
  • Two 1+ hour coding interviews

Everyone at Bloomberg is super nice and welcoming, which made both the coding part and asking questions a lot easier.

Questions
