Pros: Working at Bloomberg offers a unique and dynamic experience that stands out in the finance and technology sectors. The company fosters an environment where the pace of work is largely self-driven, allowing individuals to balance professional demands with personal life in a way that contrasts with the typically long hours seen in many financial firms. Employees often appreciate the flexibility, noting that the majority of the workforce tends to wrap up their day around 7 PM, with some even leaving as early as 6 PM.

Cons: Very good. I have no comment.

Pros: Great people and good starter pay.

Cons: Pay levels are a bit opaque by design.

Pros: Strong engineering talent. Excellent training and educational opportunities. Great work-life balance, mostly. Lots of outreach and community programs.

Cons: Management decisions and miscommunication lead to a lot of rushed releases and a lot of tech debt. Very talented and smart employees, but a lot of complacency in the work due to a loyalty-focused culture. Pay is good but a bit lower than comparable top companies in New York.
