Pros: Decent compensation for the amount of hours. Great work-life balance. Very friendly people. Get along with manager. No stress about deadlines.

Cons: Can RTO stagnate? Three per week, possibly more. Mike Bloomberg seems to really want to push for more engagement and less stagnation of compensation.

Pros: Great company culture, work-life balance, and very friendly people.

Cons: Could have more food options apart from pantry food, but this is being very nitpicky to be honest.

Pros: A very nice office, ideally situated at Bank station. The pay and career progression opportunities are good, with the possibility to move laterally within the company quite easily. The culture in my team was one of togetherness and conviviality. Also, there were free snacks and drinks in the pantry, and free dinners on some evenings. Work-life balance is valued. A very good point is that the company supports you doing charity work on their time through a system called "BOB".

Cons: Usual cons of a large company: Sometimes a lot of coordination between teams, some processes that might feel like a hindrance, and some meetings that aren't the most productive or even useful. But overall, Bloomberg fares quite a bit better than other large companies I know when it comes to those pitfalls. No horror stories to report.
