I have an interview with Bloomberg for a software engineer new grad position later in August and scheduled the phone screening for the first week of October.

To begin, the interviewer joined Zoom 15 minutes late. Without saying hello or asking any behavioral questions, unlike what the recruiter told me, they jumped into HackerRank.

They copy-pasted code below existing code in HackerRank, which was literally half in Java and half in Python. They then started asking me time complexity questions and requested I write the same code recursively before leaving for 10 minutes.

This was the worst interview I've ever had, and I felt super disrespected. I contacted the recruiter, but they also ghosted me.
