After a month, I had a phone interview screening scheduled. However, the interviewer was unable to make it that day. I wasn't informed of this until after the scheduled interview time, and I had to ask the HR person. The process felt a bit disorganized.
A few weeks later, another HR recruiter contacted me, and we scheduled another phone interview. This time, it went smoothly. During the interview, we briefly discussed my resume before moving to an online coding platform for some coding exercises. I was required to write the code and then explain it to the interviewer, including how it would handle edge cases. The coding section seemed designed to assess proficiency in the language (C/C++) rather than focus on tricky algorithm questions, with an emphasis on pointers, references, and type conversion.
A week later, I was scheduled for an onsite interview at their headquarters in NYC.
There were four rounds in total, each lasting 45 minutes to an hour, starting at 11:15 AM and concluding early in the afternoon:
Overall, the interview scheduling process was long and drawn out, with occasional delays in HR responses. The interviews themselves were smooth and quite enjoyable.
