I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. The interviewer was late, but the interview went well. A day later, I was asked to come for an on-site interview. The recruiter scheduled my interview for a month away.
Two weeks before the interview, I received an email from my recruiter stating that all positions had been filled. I responded to confirm that my interview was canceled. She replied that she would get back to me. A week before the scheduled interview date, I emailed her again about the on-site interview, and she then confirmed that I was all set for the interview (good thing I asked).
A day before my on-site interview, my friend who had applied received an email stating that the intern program was full (very annoying for me). I attended the on-site interview, and everything was great. The interviews went very well, and the office was beautiful. The reimbursement does not cover all of the expenses.
I received a rejection the following week. I wasn't too surprised, given that their program was full (before they interviewed everybody). I wasn't a fan of the HR.
