Process

I received an email stating they would like to interview me.

They sent a link to a HackerRank lobby where I had to join at an appointed time and wait.

Then they called me.

I picked up, and they asked basic questions.

After that, they started the coding exercise.

My question involved a Heat Map: write an algorithm that calculates the average value of a part of a grid. This was a 2D Array question.

They didn't want running code; they wanted to see the process.

It was difficult for me, but I solved it correctly, just not optimally. I could tell the interviewer didn't like my answer.

Questions
