The interview process included:

Two technical interviews
One recruiter behavioral interview
One Engineering Manager behavioral interview

I found the experience to be handled extremely professionally and more than just a regular, run-of-the-mill interview. It was very conversational.

At the beginning of the second technical interview, we had a semi-casual chat regarding languages and my knowledge of them. This was refreshing, as it wasn't the typical "let's jump into how well you memorized questions from LeetCode" approach.

Cons: Every Black woman and some non-Black women who have worked in my department have left the team or company or been fired during my short time here. There aren't a lot of women, and very few Black people in my department, but quite a few of the others have been here for more than 3 decades. That seems significant. YMMV depending on your relationship with your managers.
