The interview process involved a phone screening followed by an on-site interview, which included two technical rounds.
One of the interviewers in my first round was rude and made me very uncomfortable. When answering behavioral questions, the interviewer made it obvious that he was unsatisfied with my responses and wanted more, yet I was already answering to the best of my abilities.
In the technical portion, the interviewer was misleading. When I was actually on the right track, he would question my logic and state I was incorrect. He even sighed and checked his phone many times during the interview, which I found very unprofessional and rude, especially considering I had flown several hours to be on-site for the interview.
I lost respect for the interviewer and believe Bloomberg should be more careful when selecting interviewers.
My second round went very well, yet I knew that it would not have had any impact on my candidacy.
Overall, I felt my time was not valued, and I had a very unpleasant experience.
