The technical phone screen was great. I was able to solve the problems within the given time. I was presented with two problems and provided two solutions for each. However, I was not selected. This has happened before, about a year ago. Many of my friends also faced similar issues when interviewing at Bloomberg.

Pros: WLB is good for a lot of teams. No PIP policy.
Good and stable business.
Cons: Work mode not very flexible - stand-up meetings every day (even twice a day) for some teams.
No ladder for engineering, which means not clear career growth for a lot of people (you need to find your way out!).
No ladder leads to bad compensation growth as well.
