Pros: Challenging & interesting problems being tackled, many opportunities within the company, active open source & inner source communities, a supportive environment, a tech company in the finance industry rather than the other way around.
Cons: Longer hours than other big tech companies. Engineers will typically be on-call for one week per month/6 weeks, which can require early morning wake-ups when outages occur. This affects some teams more than others, though.

Pros: The job security and, to some extent, the salary.
Cons: The code you work with is very confusing; an infinite series of patches to remove previous bugs caused by other patches to remove some other bugs. The micromanagement is at its maximum, since you have to declare each day what you did every hour, and they will judge you based on this.
