Pros: Loved the people, and the snacks! A great company to do an internship with!

Cons: None I can think of. The pay is fairly good, but maybe not as good as some other companies might provide.

Pros: Great benefits, as others have mentioned already. Full medical coverage without any deductions from your paycheck. They have onsite medical facilities where you can walk in anytime during the week, and there are no co-pays or wait times. The onsite doctors can do most of the basic tests, like blood draws, and send them to a lab. This saves employees time and money. They also have registered dietitians/wellness coaches onsite, who you can work with to reach your personal fitness goals. You get to work with really smart people across the globe. In my specific department, we work a lot on the operations/infrastructure side, so we use very little C/C++. Most of our codebase is in Python, Shell, or Perl. The pay is comparable to other tech companies in the Bay Area.

Cons: The worst part about the job is being on call. You get called for random things, like disk space running low or being filled, and some machine that crashed for no reason. There's also a lot of context switching between various tasks during a regular workday, which can make focusing very difficult and causes a lot of projects to drag.

Pros: dynamic environment, can gain diverse skills.

Cons: Too many meetings, too many rules.
