A lot of good people to work with, technically talented and diverse. A lot of interesting problems to solve in finance and technology (although this will vary by the team you're on - derivatives in my case). Compensation and benefits are pretty good.
For someone interested in working in finance, it can be a bit stifling since FSDs tend to get a bit roughshod into their technical roles.
It might be good to have more communication from management and foresight about where the business is going. Requirements change very frequently, and often FSDs are only given new requirements shortly before they're asked to complete them.
Lots of turnover in some areas causes a lot of lost effort. Sometimes it's hard to tell what managers think about your performance.
