Smart Colleagues, High Pressure
Overall, they offer a good salary and benefits package with pretty challenging work. You get to work with very smart colleagues, so there is a lot you can learn. They also give you a lot of responsibility from the beginning.
High job pressure, limited set of technologies (mostly C, C++), and proprietary GUI, DB, etc. Not much social interaction.
Good project management is something I find lacking. People tend to be split between development and support tasks, thereby increasing the pressure to meet deadlines.
