Beautiful building, great people, top-notch benefits. People stay at Bloomberg for decades and seem happy.
Most (80%) of the codebase is in C++ 2003. If you come to Bloomberg expecting to work on cutting-edge tech, you'll probably be disappointed, at least initially.
More collaboration would be helpful, especially since most engineers have been WFH for the past 18 months.
