Pay doesn’t keep up with other tech companies. Also, they got really lame once they started tracking “badge-ins.” For a “progressive” company, they sure are anchored to the old ways of working. The in-office culture is crap, and it won’t surprise me if management uses your in-office days for end-of-year reviews. It used to be fun but now they’ve gotten weird.
Get with the times. WFH is much more productive and here to stay. Coming into the office is just a way to micromanage and justify your office leases.
Get real. You might be lucky now with the economic uncertainty, but there will come a time when talent will leave Bloomberg behind, golden handcuffs and all.

I applied and got an interview many months later. I was able to schedule it for a time that fit my needs. The interviewer was kind. They gave me a technical interview and asked a few questions about myself. They were also open to answering my quest
