Deservedly the leader in many aspects of the business. Sets a high standard and strives for excellence. Employees are respected and cared for as assets.
I worry that there is some culture of entitlement from employees. Perhaps due to the philanthropic thrust of the company, I see a good deal of effort being expended on issues tangential to progressing the business. Some areas of the company seem to have a culture of coasting.
The work is challenging, and I've never felt limited in contributing to the level of my ambition and ability. My main complaint would be that my area delivers a lot less than I would like, due to a lack of product vision and insufficient resources to deliver on the vision we do have.
I hope that recent changes in structure will change the former, but I continue to worry that low staffing levels prevent us from seizing opportunity.
