Cons: Promised people that the job would be hybrid, then sent everyone in. Hard for engineers to move up. People get stuck at the same level while gaining lots of responsibilities from year to year. That's why some choose to become managers to move up fast or even leave the company/position. If your manager doesn't want you to leave for a higher level, they will give the hiring manager a note saying that you're not ready for a higher level, preventing you from the new position within the company.

Cons: Long working hours, although well compensated.
