A good place to start a career
Industrial Engineer • Current Employee
Everett, Washington, United States
August 20, 2010
Pros: Amazing Benefits
* Paid overtime
* Work/life balance
* Easy mobility once you get your foot in the door
Cons: As an Industrial Engineer, you have little control over making actual process improvements when it comes to the bigger action items. Having to leap through management hoops to get action items accomplished becomes daunting and takes a lot of time. A simple task or change can take 6 months just because you're waiting for someone to approve or sign off.

Cool Planes, Mandatory Overtime
Industrial Engineer • Current Employee
Everett, Washington, United States
November 16, 2023
Pros: A really cool experience being up close and personal with the airplanes. A good name to put on a resume.
Cons: Culture is meh, especially towards the end of the year. People want to close out their projects before year-end, so OT is “heavily encouraged” (you are pretty much required). And OT is just time + $6.25, barely even worth it.

Great Work-life Balance, Poor Hires
Industrial Engineer • Former Employee
North Charleston, South Carolina, United States
December 6, 2023
Pros: Benefits and work-life balance
Cons: The Boeing hiring process allows a lot of low performers through the doors.
