Process

Their internal recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn and set up the interviews. I had three stages of one-hour interviews (which went over the hour mark a couple of times) using Webex. The questions were not hard; a lot of behavioral-based questions and the last interview had technical questions, which were pretty straightforward too. They chose not to give me an offer, saying their requirements had changed and they needed someone with more defense experience. What a waste of time! They knew from the start that I had very limited defense experience and yet put me through three-plus hours of nonsensical questioning. What were they hoping, that in the two months it took to arrange all the interviews, I would gain the defense experience or something? The other feedback was that my experience was "vague"?! Whatever the **** that means. All in all, a complete waste of time. I would advise not to apply for a software engineer role here, especially if it is for their defense section.
